ALL SAINTS, LONG MARSTON The Church was originally built in 1883 and modified and extended in 1908. The building is faced in knapped flint, with stone details, and has a tiled roof. The work involved repointing to stonework, replacement of damaged or missing stone, pointing to cracks in flintwork, replacement of cracked or missing roof tiles, and some replacement guttering.

HIGH STREET BERKHAMSTED This project involved mainly external improvements, including partial re-roofing, of three adjoining High Street commercial properties (under the auspices of the “Berkhamsted Urban Design Study”). The project expanded to include the construction of a new two storey extension to one of the properties.

BOURNE BAPTIST CHURCH Alterations to a Grade II Listed Baptist church dating from 1835. Internal alterations included the removal of the ground floor pews, new heating, lighting and AV installations, and the formation of an internal glazed porch to replace an enclosed lobby. Externally an access ramp has been provided in conjunction with repaving to the entrance forecourt
LITTLE MANOR The property is situated in a small hamlet on the edge of the Ashridge Estate. Originally built in 1513, there was a major restoration in the 19th century. Our principle involvement was with a two storey rear extension replacing a relatively recent single storey addition, but we were called upon to advise on some aspects of the refurbishment of the main house, which had not been sympathetically maintained in recent years.
